At first, it took a little bit under the concept of the movie, and I still don't understand(or maybe remember) why the giants do their morphs and bubbles. If I remember correctly, the aliens have the humans as pets and the humans try to escape. I do the like the art style in the movie though. I watched it probably 8 months ago so I'd have to refresh my memory. I wish there was more talking in the movie though, it has bunch of funky futuristic background sounds.
It's not terrible long, so if you have 70 minutes to kill, go for it. Here is a good link you can use:

I'm not sure if there's a lot of big film buffs on FRHD, but film festivals are super fun. The closest one to me is the Telluride film festival, which takes place over Labor Day weekend. I was only able to watch four films at the time, but all four are definitely going to be nominated for at least one Oscar.

My aunt and I first went to this movie called Arrival, which was directed by the dude who also did Prisoners if that means anything to you. Both films have very cerebral plot lines, and a sort of big twist at the end of the film. Neither film I would recommend to everyone, but if you want to think when you watch a film go for it (when it comes out anyway).

The second one we saw was Sully, which I believe debuted there as well. It's about the plane landing in the Hudson back in 2009, which is still a mind boggling thing to think about. The acting was great, and with Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhart there would be no doubt about it. Some of the writing, especially in the screenplay, is pretty meh. I feel like they were stretching the story a bit thin, but at the same time I'm not sure how they could have fixed it, either.

Bleed for This was a boxing movie which was probably my favorite of the entire festival. It was based on the true story of a boxer who broke their neck in a car accident, and the story was built on him recovering from it. The best parts of the film I felt were how the actors (miles teller and Aaron Eckhart again, along with some others I can't remember) interacted with each other. It felt like everyone were really good friends, and for this movie it made the family and friends feel very real. If you like yourself some good acting, along with a good underdog story, check it out.

The final movie was called La La Land. It was a musical, which is pretty rare nowadays. With Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, some heckin good music, this movie was a ride. Some of the plot slightly drags about two thirds in, but don't let this throw you off of it. This movie made some emotions go on a roller coaster, from fun and happy (where musicals usually are) to some really depressing moments. I should also mention that the cinematography was absolutely amazing. There were so many long takes that I have no idea how they did them. Just starting up the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about. Though it wasn't my favorite of the festival, it came in a damn close second.

There ya go. I would, not recommend all of these movies to everyone, but all of them were really solidly built, from cinematography to the editing going on. Go check em out!
