As is starting to get known, you can "inspect element" (ctrl-shift-i on most computers, if not right click and select inspect at bottom). From here you can see how the site works, its sources and mess around in the console. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE YOURSELF COINS, POINTS OR CHANGE THE SITE IN ANY WAY, AS THIS ONLY CHANGES THINGS ON YOUR SIDE, NOT FOR THE WHOLE DATABASE. Don't even try or you will probably be banned. Of course you can give the 'illusion' of having billions of coins, but that's only visual. Refreshing the page will show you the real amount of coins you have. In this thread, I want to discuss and share interesting things you have discovered or invented while in the 'dev screen'. Most of these will involve you typing in 'GameSettings' into the console, though there are other things you can do. Once typed in, add a dot after and a list of ingame options will come up. I am aware that certain people have used this method to hack their ghosts, but I plead you not to do this, as you will be putting yourself at an unfair advantage to the other players, as well as you getting banned, possibly by IP. I have simply created this post so people who do not want to use this for evil doings can post their discoveries.

Here are some of mine:

Typing "GameSettings.developerMode = true"


Typing "GameSettings.raceColors" brings up a list of the colours that people are when you race

You could possibly edit this and have some fun with it.

Using the select tool in the far-upper-left hand corner to select and change things in the site. As I said before these changes are only temporary and on your screen only. Refreshing will bring back to normal. If you change your amount of coins to a really high amount it will not enable you to buy all the hats, as the real value is still stored in the database. You cannot change the value of something in the database with the inspect option.






You can even change the colours of the site




So go on ahead and discover (maybe create) more interesting stuff! But please do not use this for an advantage.

The default is #000, black

You probably set the detail colour down to #000 right?

 

yes but not using the 'phisicalLineColor...' using the sceneryLineColor

this is very cool, just want to add (don't use this to cheat (it is possible to)) you can change the gravity x or y with GameSettings.defaultGravityY. I set it to 0 and it acted exactly like the anti-gravity tool
gravityY is auto set to like 0.29999999999 by default so when you set it to 0.1 it is like you are on the moon
gravityX is just set to 0 by default, but you don't need to change that to get the moon affect

i thought default y grav was set to 3...

 

default y grav is set to 0.3
If you set it to 3 then you will be ten times heavier and your bike will probably collapse. It's very fun.

My guess is that they use the physicslinesector thing in conjunction with changing around the gravities to just fly into the star

 

devs please ban everyone in this thread as they are showing everyone how to hack and probably do it themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
