Favorite movie?

    My all-time favorite movie has to be There Will Be Blood. Everything was perfect in that film imo. The score was fantastic, I love how it slowly built-up tension, and it had so many different themes and emotions in it. It was a great overall movie, not to mention the outstanding acting by DDL! Primer has to be a close second, I love those mind-blowing twist type movies, especially technical ones that you have to really pay attention to understand it. The Machinist is up there too, I liked how it made you think, it didn't give too much away and it left you thinking of different scenarios of what all happened. I may post some of my IMDB lists soon.

    Anyway, what's yours?

    I'm a lover of 80s film. It'd have to be a 3 way tie between Fletch, Better Off Dead and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

    e; The Shining is my favorite horror film. Newer horror films are plagued with overuse of CGI, I feel minimal-to-no use is best.

    I was going to mention Requiem for a Dream, that movie made me so depressed after watching it. It was soo good, yet it made me soo sad. It's probably the best movie that I never want to see again. If you're not a very empathetic person, then you probably wouldn't like RFAD.

    Also, I actually started watching Pi yesterday, but I went to sleep about 20 minutes in. I was planning on finishing it this evening.
