I'm not doing a cave anymore. It was just too hard. This track will probably be the only one with the dense lines. I think I like the simplistic yet effect detail better, so you should see that in my next track.
You, Maple, and Forlorn333 should make tutorials. Or at least a screen recording of you making a map.
It was only a matter of time before Maple shows us how it's done. nasrani I have to say, though, what you made looks a lot more like a really rough flowing river. I'm not saying that it doesn't look like clouds, but if you look at it and imagine it as water, it looks like an insanely detailed river.
It does kind of look like a river. I made a terrible video of myself making some rock detail a while ago, here's the link: It didn't turn out, because there was a lot of lag with the quickplayer going.
yes pls, even something as simple as a rock edit: or you could pics where you gradually detail more and more
Hey, I am getting interested in detailing, I was working on a track and took a break before I started to doodle. I had a go at a rocky terrain, apart from making it bigger/expanding it, is there any tips or advice you could give me on how to improve? thanks.
To me it seems like your scenery lines have nothing to do with the shape that your solid lines make. If you were to completely separate the gray lines from the black ones, it would look like two different things: the gray lines would look like a grassy ledge, and your solid lines would look like a generic rock. That's just my opinion. FYI - I'm not saying it looks bad at all - you definitely have the ability to do great detail. The only thing that I'm suggesting is that you stay consistent with what you are trying to draw.
