I need some tips on how I could detail this: If you look on the left edge, you can see I have detailed it a bit: But when I continued adding it to the rest of the cliff, it looked terrible. Do you guys have any tips/ideas as to how I could detail this? And what do you think about what I have so far?
That's a pretty ginormous cliff, detail it light like you did, and focus the density of the detail towards the top of the cliff, this way it'll save time and also have the focus near the rider. Don't spend too much time on the cliff though, find a good rate to detail at so you won't lose interest int he track.
Thanks for the tips! This is the start of a huge project, planning on getting it >500 k, maybe even >700k. Detail will not be too heavy, but the track will be immensely large (if I follow through with my plan) I will be showing more soon
#FuckingYOLO Immense is cool. e; So anyway I got this album going on and I hadn't realise that each one of these projects have pushed some huge boundaries, no wonder why this is taking so long.
You guys have seen some of one of them but I don't think I'll give much more. (on bhr and maybe once here in the WIP)
I like it those few lines make it look pretty good, not sure how it will look if you were to continue that for the rest of the rock-cliff part. But I don't think it'll look bad. E; OK I have a suggestion, stretch out the "+" line style when detailing the rest of the cliff rock, that'll give the general shape and differentiate the rock sizes.
I was playing a track by nasrani and I saw this facepalm guy(left). Really random but I just thought it was funny haha. Challenge for any that are bored! Do a facepalm doodle on the editor in the exact same position as those two, in whatever style, whatever character, however detailed
