Unless you're an artist

Most generic art classes aren't any good though, the more advanced/specific ones can be nice.

The only thing art class ever did for me was make me hate my teacher, he did nothing but insult me (literally called me retarded once) because I took my time to do everything perfectly, rather than rush out some sloppy project he had, and so I rarely finished my assignments on time since he wanted us to do ridiculous things like make and paint a clay statue in a few days with no prior experience in any way.
That was just a high school class, but it turned me off to the idea of taking any other art classes.

 

Yeah, high school art classes are usually a joke.

If you wanted a real art class you'd have to pay some cash, find a private teacher, or go to school for it... self-directed classes are always cool; I've considered doing some life drawing stuff before.
