Example, dropkick has some pretty insane tracks: http://www.freeriderhd.com/u/dropkick/created. http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/2689-take-down-the-gunner will make a good track for Action II just a little tricky for this one

 

Agreed, I actually had that one shortlisted for fantasy. That one will be in there for sure. It passed the "I can beat it" test http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/1018-alien-invasion-2/r/eric

Any input on these classic authors / tracks? Some of the classics are really difficult, I used the "if I can't beat it, then it is to tough test" for this stage of the campaigns. Any other suggestions?

Do you guys feel that it would ruin the surprise if I linked at a minimum the classic tracks that would be in a future campaign? I could spark a thread up for each category linking to the ones that are under consideration and take suggestions like these?

We currently have 10 tracks in each campaign but those could be increased to say 12 or so. We would like to have at least 50% of the campaign made up by active authors, so may keep those hidden or discussed with only a few authors.

 

I think that more imput from the community would really help with creating these campaigns. So yeah go ahead !

 

I would argue that the current campaign is not broken. All tracks selected came from players voting for them and were play tested. Chosen for length, completion rate and in most cases teach something new.

I agree that they may not be ideal for classics, as quality standard is a lot higher than say a new player. But for new players, these tracks are still impressive. That being said, we will definitely raise the detail standards for tracks moving forward and re-arrange existing campaigns as necessary.
