this is astonishing. honestly the first playthrough was like nothing I had experienced before in this game, felt like getting dropped into some alternate universe lol. gonna dive back in and I'll share more thoughts later, but just had to say absolutely incredible job here man.
i dont even wanna play the track yet lol, there's so many small details that have just mesmerised me. it's like one of those digital art pieces where you can infinitely zoom in and see a new spec of detail, this track is brimming with tiny details it's so beautiful. i'll come back after i play it through, but this art is just gorgeous
there isn't another author on here where when they drop it feels like everyone has to stop what they're doing and just revel in the moment this is a stroke of genius. the perspective is INSANE and somehow consistent over such a massive scale? i think i need to step away from the computer for a sec to just relax lol and when i return just know i will be opening it up again (and again)
Thank you guys for all the compliments, I hope you guys enjoy the track, I focused a lot on building up the environment/world much like psketchlands. Really wanted to play around w/ a lot of interconnected paths in this track too, but it def got way too overwhelming in the end design and quantity-wise for me so there's many paths that haven't been fully realized or lead to deadends.
I cannot think of any other track that matches this in both scale and technical drawing skill. I'm blown away (again!) by your dedication to the craft--there is not a lazy line on this track. The ride is wildly fun. It gives a feeling of discovery and exploration that can only be achieved when an immense amount of time is put into the small details. The combination of highly developed, unique concepts with your drawing skills is a rare and explosive combo. Maple seriously what are you doing on FRHD?? You're the next moebius bro, we need to get you an illustration agent or a deal with dark horse! This skill goes way beyond a web browser game
Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god
This is probably my favorite little bit of the whole track. I feel like I could physically feel how the drawings changed across the course of the track, this felt like if doctor seuss built a track on here. Beautiful work, nothing would compare to something like this if you didn’t have a larger resume
