Anime & Manga!

Hey you guys!

As you may have noticed, I'm kind of into animes and mangas. I just wanted to create a thread to talk about them, and send recommendations for others for things to watch/read.

Feel free to provide links or source for your content, although I'm not sure if linking to shady streaming platforms is permitted here. Providers such as Netflix would be prefered!

I like action/romance animes and mangas a lot. Absurd ones are fun to watch from time to time.

Here's my recommendation list (my favorite animes) from my own tastes :

- Ookami san to shichinin no nakama tachi (Ookami san and her seven companions - of course) - really loved the characters, was so funny and unsettling.
- Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan -huge must watch) - beautiful anime. The story is extremely captivating. Couldn't stop myself from watching it when I started.
- Sōdo Āto Onrain (Sword Art Online) - As a casual MMORPG player, this anime was very relatable. It took me some time to enjoy it, but once I got into it, I was addicted and almost cried at times.
- Hataraku Maō-sama (The Devil is a Part-Timer!) - That one was absolutely hilarious, and the characters were just so perfect. Really a light watch and I enjoyed every part of it.

Hope you guys have some good suggestions to make too! And if you decide to watch some of mine, or have already watched some of them, feel free to leave some feedback too!

I feel like I would have loved to watch hunter x hunter when I was younger. Might watch it after Full Metal Alchemist, it does look pretty fun.

Personal Favs are Kenshin, DBZ, Hellsing and the Monogatari though.

 

What's Anime and Manga?

 

Hunter is applicable to any age (entertainment wise). I really hope you watch it, the first couple episodes are slow, like all shonin though. Oh yeah and watch the 2011 version, not the old one. The old one covers half the manga and is somewhat inaccurate.
What version of Full Metal Alchemist are you watching?

 

Japanize cartoons. please dont watch any or your brain will fry.

 

Like your christianity cartoons are better. Super God vs the 7 deadly sins.

I wouldn't be surprised
I don't watch anime or read manga because I can't stand the formatting/framerates but they seem to have good storylines

 

Bigger productions have better framerates and artistic quality in general

Joelbmx Started watching Hunter x Hunter (2011), it's pretty fun =) I hope the main character gets a graphical evolution someday.

 

How up to date are you with SAO?

 

Watched the first season and the ''movie''. Second season seemed uninteresting (guns) so I don't think I'll be finishing it.

 

It's back to Alfheim online. If you wanna watch that watch episode 14.5 and then carry on from then I guess. I never saw the film, didn't know there was one. Haha
