Question Contest badge designers

Hi,

Due to the planning of the first official contest for FRHD, we are looking for someone to design our new contest badges.
These badges, or medals, will be displayed on your profile (DB and forums), when you have either placed 1st, top 3 or top 10 in any of our official contests. (This means we need 4 separate designs, preferably made by the same designer) (Using already exisiting vectors from the internet is out of the question)
The designs should be very small, so it's not neccessarily much work.

Should there be numbers on the medals? I was thinking that a gold/silver/bronze/stone ranking would be a good idea as they're going to be small anyway

 

I like the idea sounds perfect

 

Ill give it a go, Char do you want svg's or just ordinary image types. Also are gradients ok to use, i seem to recall that they werent with the helmets.

 

SVGs with a transparent BG is prefered. But if anything I can remove the background manually. And as long as you don't work on a canvas less than 50x50 ( ), it doesn't really make much difference if it's a SVG or just a normal image.

Here are mine in order of placement, still not sure about the gradient I used.

I was also thinking that the wheel could be rotated to 7 angles, upwards being 4th and going around clockwise.
