Its just because of the hormones. They'll (hopefully) quit being creepy once they finish puberty. If not then you gotta leave them lol

 

One of the worst feelings is like someone very much, and then they get a boyfriend/girlfriend. This has been ruining my highschool year.

 

Avoid letting someone like that have such an effect on you. There's a lot of time in high school and your opinions/feelings on people are constantly changing. Even if you've had your eyes set on this person for the whole year or two, it most likely won't matter after high school

 

To add onto this, it's about self control which takes time

 

Yeah dude just have a good time, forget about it for the time being and make your move when the relationship subsides (it definitely will, high school relationships never last lmao)

Its high school. Break some laws, do some drugs (dont do drugs), fail some tests and have a good time. You'll regret it if you dont cherish it.

 

I feel like love is... Overrated. Seriously, it is seen and talked about as this "magical thing" that cannot be explained, but still I seem to find explanations all the time by simple observations. A young couple that only lasted as long as their honeymoon; they did not fall in love of eachother, but rather they fell in love of love itself, of the feeling of respect shown by their 'couterpart'. An old couple only brought together by their children, no real communication between them; they live different lifes, and both, in their ignorance, have forgotten that the partner should be one of the most important one. My mother often says that some things can't or shouldn't be explained, and when I present my explanations, she shake's her head and says: "no, it's much more complicated than that, you make it too simple".
I don't really know why people try so hard to keep together forever; is the hope for eternal happiness and utopia so strong? People have expiration dates, face it, they get boring, they don't change as fast as you read them. I honestly think that most of the relationships these days are just... greedy. People don't savor anything, you have to find the woman/man that's perfect from the first day you meet him/her, because you deserve happniess now, the other you months in the future doesn't, fudge that guy, let's use all our resources now, let's waste everything. It's dumb to me. I honestly think that the policy of the vikings for example, where the spouse is picked by others, is way better than the culture of relationships that we currently live with. At least the vikings see their partners' bad sides immediately, and they don't comes as negative suprises when kids have been made and responsibilities are to be carried through.
The thing I'm most furious about my past is the fact that my parents did not think about having a child through. They got divorced when I was 6, and I was depressed for almost 3 years after that. Also my mother was depressed, came home from work almost crying, and could not grow me and my brother into the persons we should've become. We are both on mental medication, my brother is in a 'special class' in school, and I struggle with severe anxiety. fudge the culture of relationships these days.

 

I don't think it's because it's overrated, I just don't think you understand it properly. Bad experiences in life shun what it is. I think Love is what you make of it, it's either gonna work or it's not gonna work and it's your choice to make the most of what you have, even if it doesn't last y'know.

Haha that's actually a really great attitude! You'd probably make a good therapist because that's exactly the mindset you need for a job like that.

No i would hate to be a therapist. i only like helping. being a thereapist would ruin that. i only want to help in ways that are practical or mental but without using therapy.
