Hey I was looking through other authors and saw that they were listed as classic authors Is this for anyone who had an account in free rider 3 or reserved for the most popular track makers from free rider 3
I have 3 tracks with over 100 plays in free rider 3 Under the username Pingpong88 I also played canvas rider but have since forgotten my password to that account Is this enough to be considered to be a classic author
You can write in to support@freeriderhd.com with a link to your FR3, FRHD and CR profiles and we will take a look.
I honestly feel like it's too easy to become a classic author, I think only true classic authors should make the cut. Not just anyone who has played the game elsewhere other than on this site. (which is how easy it seems to be...)
Yeah that what I though classic author was reserved for the true classic authors like FREEZ, ITZChucknorris, etc. but then I was surprised to see people who didn't have many tracks who are classic authors
No I mean REALLY classic, like having been around since at least 2010-2011, no later. I don't know how long FREEZ has been around though, so maybe that's what you meant too. iTzChuckNorris easily deserves the status though.
Another issue I have is that accounts are labeled a community classic track author before any form of verification. You end up with classic authors such as this guy: http://www.freeriderhd.com/u/cosminboss11 You might not be able to tell, but all 99 of his tracks are stolen, some of them he reposted.
Yeah first glance at his profile you think he is a classic and then you take a further look at the tracks and realise how much of a scam he is
Yep, with such memorable tracks as "mail expres", "lemon hardd", "weelie", "moutain", "norealy", "thisright", "chanel 1" and who could forget the wonderfully crafted "rooo"?
Would you be able to link to the original tracks that he has copied? Either here or in an email to support@freeriderhd.com. I removed a few obvious offending tracks but I will need links to the originals in order to take action on any others.
The fact that he has at least a few stolen tracks should be enough to delete his entire account, in my opinion, with all the tracks in it. But you want me to post like, 70-80 originals? That would be an entirely new FR career for me lol... http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/9440-medium This one was a FR1 track, I can't prove it because I think it was made on a site that didn't have accounts. But it's one of those tracks that gets copied all the time, any classic author should recognize it. http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/9392-thisright http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/9393-redproject These two are the same, they were copied ALL the time on freerider2.org. Can't prove that either because I only saw it copied before the account system over there was made. http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/9376-mister http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/3527-malul-cel-tare If someone steals tracks, they certainly can't make something like this. (Both are the same.) http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/7002-weelie Another well copied track, still can't prove it because I saw it on fr2.org... Can't prove any though...but I imagine no problems will be had if you wipe his account off the face of this site. I'd applaud that.
Sorry, I don't expect you to post links to all of the original tracks but we do need to see them before we remove all of them. Removing a number of what could be original tracks at one users request could be frowned upon by the community. However, due to his account history, his account has been stripped of classic author status and as such because he never reclaimed his account (in the same way that you did), he will not be able to reclaim it. The tracks will remain however, rendering the account as a simple host. Should the original track be uploaded by the original author or be found on FRHD, the tracks will then be removed.
Fair action, I'm good with that. The most important thing is that his account can't make classic authors look bad.
