how about making an experience points system, in which members have to work themselves up the ranks, earning new titles?
it could be based on experience points given from; first track posted, contests, amount of tracks completed (exp will only be given once for each individual track), amount of top ghosts (more points the more popular the track is) , amount of featured tracks, campaigns completed etc.

a feature to this idea could be the possibility of unlocking more campaigns for those who have reached a certain title.
another feature could be arranging contests for those who have reached a certain title.

Hey Stig, lots of the ideas your mentioning here have already been brought up over in this thread here. We are still running through the multitude of options for a campaign set-up but a multi-tier system (which I believe you are suggesting) seems to be one of the more frequently suggested ones.
I do like the idea of ranks, it can definitely be added to our list of possibilities.
