I really don't see why atheists try so hard to convince Christians/Jews/Muslims/other religions that there is no God. If there is no God why does it matter what people think. Yes yes i know that some atheists would say that it does matter because we try to force our "wrong" beliefs on them, but if there is no God who is to say that any one is right or wrong. If you believe in that world view it is neither right or wrong for Crypt to support gays. It is also neither right or wrong for me then to go and find those people and murder them (I DO NOT BELIEVE IN THIS WORLD VIEW THOUGH SO OF COURSE I THINK MURDERING PEOPLE OVER THEIR BELIEFS IS WRONG OKAY!). If there is no God it does not matter what people believe, so therefore it makes no sense to me for Atheists try to convince people to "dump God".

However, for Christians (And Jews/Muslims/other religions i would assume) we have an obligation to "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," (Matthew 28:19)

Actually, Atheists arguments only strengthen my faith because when people try so hard to try and make you subscribe to their worldview/belief, when according to that same worldview/belief it should not matter to them, it might be because in reality it does matter, because whether you are saved might actually be important.

I would also like to make it clear that i do not hate atheists. Or gays. I disagree with what they say, but i try my best to do it with respect(which is something that i rarely get in return i might add)

you don't have to believe in a god to have empathy and basic morals

Your right, you don't have to. But if you don't there is no reason to have those basic morals.

That's kinda what laws are in government, to protect people's lives. Because not everyone has the same theistic views, therefore nobody has the same exact morals, so a law has to be set down to protect everyone as a whole.

I get what you're saying, though I know that I'm just a speck of atoms and chemicals and whatnot, but that doesn't stop me from waking up every morning and loving life.

if the only reason you have morals is because you're afraid of god's punishment then i am concerned for you

are you saying that it is not wrong to murder someone? in the sentence afterwards you say you think it is wrong, but then why say that it is not right nor wrong to murder them? you are contradicting yourself

    Spoiler (open)
Dude, I'm not trying to convince you that there isn't a god. I myself am constantly on the fence about a creator, maybe not a theistic one, but I wouldn't be surprised if I left atheism and became a deist. I have a great fear of not existing anymore and sometimes I refuse to believe that this is it, it seems too short. All I am trying to convince you of is that bronze-age morality has no place in society today, and that you're very wrong about the sciences & have no reason not to accept them. "If there is no God why does it matter what people think." Because it's not about god, it's about what people think, say, and even worse DO in the name of their idea of a god. They give attributes to this god, conveniently disregard & uplift passages that do & do not make sense to them, and try to force it upon people's lives. I say, if there is a god, let him do his own talking. An omnipotent & omnipresent deity needs no mortal being to fill in for him. And when that deity shows up or shows evidence, I'll accept that.

Uhh who's to say what's right and wrong...well, for starters, the freaking judicial system, which branches from evolved morality that has been built based on consensus. Morality is subjective for the most part, but when it comes down to killing people for meaningless crimes, that is objectively wrong. It does no good for society to stone gays, rather it is a detriment. I've posed this a million times now, but morality is & always has been based on empathy that evolved through our need to become a species that lives in groups, and it does no good for a tribe to kill it's own members. There's always bad apples but we root them out.

You're fine to believe that you have an obligation to go around preaching but...I wouldn't. Especially in foreign areas. Might get you killed. An atheist will slam the door. An Islamic community might barbecue you because well, they follow their book just like you do, and their book says to kill you & I.

Well that's sad. You're literally boasting your closed-mindedness. Why do you even argue if you don't want to discuss & potentially change the crowd whilst allowing yourself to be changed if someone poses an argument that makes you think? I'm all about changing my mind when it comes to logic & evidence. Just show me it.

I was simply pointing out that you were contradicting yourself and the answer to you first question (the first thing in bold) is that everyone has morals, I myself have certain morals and I am not religious

Okay. I misunderstood you. And i see how morals "Could" arise from humanity without any deity giving them guidelines. But i still fail to see how you can believe in macro-evolution. Here are the tree main reasons:
    1. I find it VERY hard to believe that life comes from non-life. do you know how many possible combinations there are for a protein 150 amino acids in lenghth 1x10 to the 195 power. Thats 195 zeros. And that is a TINY protein. They are often made up of hundreds of thousands of amino acids. and there are only 100,000 essential types of proteins in the human body. This video enplanes it in more depth, and while it is from a creationist point of view, i would really appreciate it if you watch the whole thing .
    2. How do you get the information of life? Suppose, just suppose, that i could get all those amino-acids to "evolve" to align in the "perfect" order Millions of times over. That still does not solve the question of where you get the information. Think of it this way: You can't code a computer just by putting all the parts together. It requires the intelligence of a "coder", or in the case of proteins, of a "creator".
    3. Irreducible Complexity:(this may take a while to read but PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY) Even the simplest of single-celled organisms are so complex that neither you nor I can begin to understand how complex they are. There are millions upon millions of Molecular machines in a cell that do amazing jobs. Molecular machines are considered to be irreducibly complex. An irreducibly complex machine is made of a number of essential parts, and all these parts must be present for it to function properly. If even one of these parts is missing the machine is non-functional. Evolution, which supposedly works in a stepwise fashion over long periods of time, can’t form these complex machines. Evolution is not goal-oriented; it cannot work towards a specific outcome. If a part of the machine would happen to form by random chance mutation, but the other parts of the machine were not formed at the same time, then the organism containing that individual part (by itself non-functional) would not have a particular survival advantage and would not be selected for. Since the part offers no advantage to the organism, it would likely be lost from the population, and evolution would be back to square one in forming the parts for the machine. There is essentially no way to collect the parts over time because the individual parts do not have a function (without the other parts) and do not give the organism a survival advantage. Remember, all the necessary parts must be present for the machine to be functional and convey a survival advantage that could be selected for.
All in all, when i see information that national geographic or the discovery channel is not willing to tell me, Evolution (And therefore atheism) seems preposterous to me.
