I assume you're referring to mountain ride because that's the only track by graggen that looks anywhat like that and even that is a lot neater (except the end is very ehh). Dreamt place is leagues beyond this and that's not there but like what has been said it's not enough. Oh and if Graggen released something like this I wouldn't say "Cool oldschool" I'd probably tell him that it was **** or critique it.

You'd be surprised what a big spike in detail quality and 7-8 seconds extra would do to a track. Although I think that Snow Rider only got featured to a bare minimum length standard for an exception of art tracks.

pssst on Mesa it never got finished discussing I don't think. We have a couple tracks still waiting replies or full decisions.

This deserves feature Imo. I know you just responded. Putting my vote forward.

 

couldn't featured tracks moderators make their own private chat with all the other moderators to vote on which trck to be featured instead of making it public to the forum you never know the people of the forum could pull a 4chan on us and spam the thread with having a terrible track as "Feature this!"

 

we do, we always have. if we see a track that might be worth a feature, we suggest it to the other mods and we discuss our opinions and vote. but for whatever reason, instead of PMing one of us mods, recently people like to make topics telling us what deserves a feature and what doesn't, and we have to defend our views to everyone.

we have five qualified people as mods so it's easy and quick to discuss, so excuse me if I sound hostile, but it's a huge waste of our time to explain our decision multiple times. if we're so incompetent, why are we the ones in the position?

The best way to make your voice heard is to speak. And that's exactly what I'm doing, I like to see your opinion, whether or not it's in agreement with mine.

I really have no idea what the criteria was to decide upon the feature mods. But since, this title was given to you and you choose to assert it, you should have no problem explaining your decisions or making them known.

I have no problems with suggestions, but the debates people insist on having are too time-consuming. Talking with the other four guys is enough effort, but justifying every decision we make is borderline impossible. It's personally driving me crazy, and I'm not even the one discussing most of the tracks in this topic.

I understand the desire for open discussion, I know you guys want to see our opinions, and I see the pros of back-and-forth debate. But if the mods are expected to be efficient with our featuring, we won't be able to give every complaint a great response. It's not about worth or lack of justification in our decisions, it's about time. We don't have the time to have a long-winded debate with the forum every time a track might be worth a feature.

 

i actually have 10 featured tracks in total, with all the collabs (you forgot staple in your list too).
so it is in fact i, and not lolz who got the most featured tracks. but i still consider lolz the winner, cus all of his were individual tracks

 

for all you saying that it's not long enough, take away the slow-mo in this and it would be a good 5 seconds faster, thus quicker than the dreamt place http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/84193-snowrider not to mention that wyatt's has multiple paths, and a neatly written paragraph.

 

I wasn't feature mod for that one, but that's not near long enough either. But the detail is great, both foreground and background, the detail is larger scale, the track is more innovative, it flows well, and it's a greater track. We know what we're doing.
