Descent: Hysteria

well I'm for sure honored to be in that list good sir. :^]

I gotta say, this is good. I'm not sure if it's better than Vacant, but Hate (I cant do the symbol for some reason) seems to have the same effort put into it, both in detail and in the atmosphere created. In fact, the atmosphere and feeling in the track may be better than Vacant in some ways.

The detail as well is on par with Vacant, maybe a little more so. Unlike Joel up there I think that the bg was spot on, and too much would have taken away from the rest of the scenery. The one place I have to criticize is the water, unfortunately (nothing big though). The big river looks fine, but it seems out of perspective for one reason or another, the reason to me is unclear. The river is fine, but the small waterfall on the right is what I have to Hate on (puns). It starts fine, but the wonky perspective makes it look flat with everything else around it looking more 3-D. This effect kinda goes into the detail and looks really skewed, and the splash at THEend (puns again) puts the nail in the coffin for me. Everything else imo is solid tho.

Overall, I liked it. The story, the detail (exceptions for a few parts), the trees, the background, almost everything really. I couldn't choose between this and Vacant, but maybe Vacant comes out with a bit more of an edge. I also just read that you were rushing it in some parts, which is understandable and can be seen in a couple parts *cough* water *cough*.

Yeah you hit the nail in the head, it was the water (and something else ). I only like the way bottom bit and the waterfalls :^] but I'd spend like 100 years making it better and I just can't. Thanks for inputty.
