Basic Description: Track that requires +1 "Z" to complete, can be multi-level. Checkpoints placed appropriately so that if a player does bail they have a chance to continue. You are free to incorporate whatever else you like called out in the "Allowed" but just don't make too difficult for a brand new player. Vehicle: MTB Time Requirements: 20-30 seconds to complete Difficulty Level: Easy/Medium Scenery Requirements: Only requirement if "Z" is used should be in scenery where appropriate to make a little easier and whatever else you think may make the track easier. Other than that scenery details are left to the author. Allowed (although don't over do it with everything, this is the 4th track for a new player they still likely suck!): +1 Stars Straight Track Line Basic Scenery Boost(s) Jump(s) with slow motion(s) Loop(s) Change Direction "Z" Gravity(s) Bomb(s) Jump(s) without slow motion(s) Checkpoint(s) Overall track teaches: Hammers home checkpoints + leaning L/R to make it over jumps Feedback: If you guys have feedback on the track, thinking that we are missing anything please let us know. We don't want to limit creativity but want to set forth these basic game design requirements as teaching a new player how to play is one of the most important things! There will be 10 tracks in total ranging from Super Easy - Easy - Easy/Medium with the last 3 tracks working in most of the aspects / tools available in Free Rider.
Well since no one is working on this I guess I'm going to give it a try. No promises but I'll try to get it done in time. If there are more people wanting to make track 9 then please tell me.
Okay sooooo I threw this together in an hour and a half.. NOT DONE! The layout is done unless you guys want me to change something. I decided to go with a mountain downhill style feeling track because I thought it would be good to push the new players limits and introduce them to some speed and slightly longer air time. I made sure that everything is easily done by just holding up and leaning.. However if you land wrong obviously you might not clear the next jump.. SOOOO checkpoints!! Cuz all those rage quiters will be much less ragey (is that even a word?) with them And also with the Z part that is requested I made sure that there is plenty of air time and an arrow clearly pointing in the direction they need to go so that there is minimal confusion Anyway please check it out anddd let me know what you think I have finals this week on top of work sooo I will need to hop on this when I can Yup here it is!
