It's the first iteration, we do intend to grow and expand. Right now we have armator and her poetry column to appeal to another aspect of writing. I do plan on having other types of columns introduced in later issues. And for the record, before this issue came out I had asked WheelieMaker if he was interested in doing a Drama Alert column. He said it didn't feel appropriate, and I'm inclined to agree with him. The news isn't meant to spread rumors and cause problems, it's meant to be a friendly and informative read. Drama Alert might be entertaining to the older members in the forum, but that's the minority. Maybe some version of "community news" will be introduced that might be appropriate for all ages, but this paper will never be hateful.
How about a top 10? I always enjoy watching/reading top 10's. Could be about anything from most skilled trackmakers to biggest trolls. Another idea I had was a spotlight every issue where an old author get's the spotlight, like Moose_man or Hawnks or something.
I think someone on the team wanted to do a Top 5 of some sort, but there was a time issue. We'll have to see if they are still interested. Articles are all up to the writers, I'm sure they're taking in ideas from these suggestions so be sure your ideas have been heard. I haven't ever given "assignments" for specific articles, I'm not sure if I ever will, but any type of topic is up for discussion.
