This thread is meant to be kind of casual and includes comments on track mechanics to ability to do things on tracks to favorite types of tracks.

      Here's a list:
      • Tracks may have line animation/animated lines.
        • Along with effects such as rotating, changing size, if the complexity isn't minded.
      • Tracks shall have physical objects that are affected by gravity.
        • Object weight/mass.
        • Adjustable gravity.
      • Parallax Scenery. (Different layers of scenery)
        • Front layers, if possible and/or liked by people.
      • Adjustment of start direction, start position and if possible, starting velocity.
      • Line shade. (different shades of black)
      • Fill tool. (It's as hard as implementing almost every other feature request in this thread, because it would take a complete re-write how tracks are coded)
      • Death objects, which when touched causes death to the rider. Same as bombs/mines, but is made of lines. Now, make that huge T-Rex that chase your chicken player to their death.
      • Moving objects, example, moving platforms, moving car.
And- *developer shoots me* (x_x) *dead*

As much as I love your ideas, I have to say a lot of them would require a lot of change to our current system. Currently, all lines are kept as vector values locked at certain locations on a massive grid. Although we still have plans to improve playability (lag vs smooth), add additional features, and improve loading times, there is only so much we can do before many computers wouldn't be able to handle our game in their browser.

Parallax scenery as well as line shading/coloring is something that I would personally love to see as I think track creators could really go wild with them. How would you like to see these implemented? Have 3 separate and editable layers? Have a limited color palette to keep creators from using vibrant colors? I'd love to hear more :)

Of course, I understand. I wrote whatever idea I could think, not the ones I want you people to do. I also wrote the tracks codes need to be re-written, as the current codes store only lines(position of point1, position of point 2 ). :)

I'm happy you will do the parallax background thing...
      1. Yes, that'll be enough, I think. More layers may cause lag. This is a browser game, after all. (Well, till yet, at least. :p)
      2. Darker and prominent colors shall probably be used as the track lines, while light colors as scenery. Colors that are too vibrant will fit scenery as well, IMO, for example, the Sun. Btw, I think you should ask people about the line colors, though. And it's not like the Free Rider 2 colors, right? Line colors only.

Sorry if there was any confusion about that. I merely meant that I would like to see those be a part of the game. No promises on anything.

Oh well, I thought you will think about it, and when you think, you do.

Talking about parallax layers, Réné (Black Hat) made a little something that looks like this

We have a beta on Black Hat where you can make this "foreground scenery" but you can't save it.

I think that foreground scenery would be a great addition of done right, Colors however would really ruin the look and feel of the game imo. Black and white (and grey) is the beauty of the game.

      Colours ruin the game.
Also, Fill tool is just lazy imo.

Fill tool is not lazy. It would save a lot of time and decrease effort.

Decreasing effort does not always mean lazy.
Do you call travelling in vehicles the lazy way of walking?

Yeah, because little to no effort is put into driving and when Walking, you are physically active.

Sure it makes you fit, but in the long run it makes you tired. Walking/Running is good but only if done to an extent (like everything else). Filling a part with lines completely only takes time and effort that could be spent of other parts like detailing. Covering with lines doesn't take anything (you don't need skill do that) but your time and energy. It's wasteful. Why does Paint have fill tool? Why does any other image making/editing software have a fill tool? People could just use some other tool instead of that.

And if you think harder, many things were actually made so people don't have to do that. Thus, laziness can lead to inventiveness.

Read the above text, think about it for a moment, then do not post and GTFO, foolish human.

      Back off bro.

I would rather detail than fill, and I'm sure that's the same preference with almost every pro on this forum.

Nobody stopping someone from detailing... But some places people may need to fill rather detail, and that's why a fill tool is necessary.
If you don't like it, nobody would force you to use it if it comes.

Guess so, but I'm still trying to say Filling is lazy and it's not as good.
