I'm weary of this idea. However, I do think a more comprehensive curve tool would be cool.

    I like this idea though.

What about a three point arc tool? You click the end, the middle, and the other end creating a custom arc. Could be pretty useful if it's used with a grid setup. With this you could create circles too.

No, it was successful. Many people had a really good time coloring, myself included. It was fun, but that site started dying out mainly because of lack of skilled artist, and guests. never allow guests [/g]

I was a member for a short time. I don't remember it being successful, all i know is the colorless version was preferred.

If you are skilled enough to use color with shading, then I think it would be really cool.
Green trees, brown/yellow rocky mountains, yellow desert, whitish-blue snow as a landscape.
As long the color is well chosen, i.e. not a dull color say dark blue for the sky, it wouldn't be as bad.

Please, please, PLEASE include some sort of eraser that only erases certain elements..
For example, a line eraser, a scenery eraser, a boost eraser, a gravity eraser, etc.
Way too many times do I find myself deleting a whole section of my track because I wanted to remove a boost. So very frustrating.

Regarding already posted ideas, I would like to see an option where you can adjust the darkness of a scenery line. This will add a tonne of detail to many tracks.

Yea it could be fun, I am just worried it could destroy a perfectly good game by making it overly complicated. It could be a lot of fun too though.

angle identification; a digital read-out appears at the top of the screen showing the angle of the line you're drawing (ex 45* 90* 135* etc)

I would like to see a fill tool. One where you could fill in closed objects with either black or gray. I think it produces a nice effect like
    in this track: http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/2234-the-gun-shop
It takes so much time to do it one line at a time.

Not necessarily.. I find having a lot of helpful tools makes track-making less tedious, more enjoyable, and in the end you feel better when you come out with something that doesn't make you want to stab your eyes with a fork.
