This isn't an absolutely certain idea. I'd have to argue about it with someone to decide how best it could be incorporated:
      • Nitrous: I think it would be cool to have this as an item on the track or optionally start with a set number of. You can get this item and use it at any point in the track. It would work equivalent to a boost except in the direction the rider is pointing.

I'm against teleporting and the foreground scenery. Both are too messy in their own ways. Foreground scenery would only be used well by a handful of people. Teleporting just seems tacky.

Movement, though, sounds badass. To keep it clean, I vote there only be hinges, no path following, spinning madness!

Foreground scenery, Hazx has been promising an official release for quite a long time now, he has a beta, you should talk to him about it.

Adding a few new features/power-ups is okay, but please don't add too many. I like how simple CR/the other free riders were.

Exactly the same as the CR editor, so Q to snap black lines and S to snap scenery lines, Z to undo last line, R to change to grabber thingo. Please no curve tool. Also, will the codes be completely compatible with CR/FR2 codes?

Also, how much do you estimate BMX autos to be broken when transferring codes from CR to FRHD?

There could always be a power-up to invert scenery and actually lines. You hit the boost and now you can only ride on scenery, vice versa.
That would probably be to far from the game itself, but it would be cool.

Not the scenery lines or black lines. I would agree under the circumstance that blue and red lines are created and alternately appear when switches are hit.

I hate this idea, because the old school black and white game has got its soul. Doesn't need colors

Well like I said it was just a thought.. I am not even sure if I would like it. I was more curious to see what other people thought and thought that it MIGHT be cool. But I can agree the classic black and white is its soul and it doesn't need colors.

there has been a colored free rider before. it was unsuccessful, because colored lines will never fit this game. i am for introducing new shades of scenery lines and foreground scenery

Also, there we should be able to create boxes and ellipse shape without manually drawing them.

Also, also, how about physical bodies that are affected by gravitational force, for example barrels in levels, which when hit with a force fly away, and fall? I hope you people get what I mean.
