The randomly placed art is pretty cool, although it would be nice to see an actual finished track from you two (have hardly no white spaces, & fully detailed) instead of posting half-finished decent art tracks.

and as far as i know, Maple has no habbit of posting half finished tracks, and when it comes to me there are plenty of finished tracks on my profile aswell

the statues on the right side of the track might seem randomly placed, aswell as the 2nd castle. but there were different detail surrounding them, which we desided to remove at some point... so im sorry, because you couldnt know that my perception of randomly placed art is like these sprite tracks, or eli's tracks aso, and i dont like to see it compared to that. cus afterall, they require nothing

i wasnt getting heated lol but i must admit that i dislike that you consider art and detail two different things in this matter, cus afterall, our detail is art, and our art is our detail.

Oh man, I'm just liking the posts because heat. Never thought your art is random though, just never completely done to justify why it's there.

Although I do consider art and detail virtually the same thing! it's just I was hoping there would've been more landscape detail involved specifically foreground scenery where the rider goes through, just know that adding a few scenery lines won't hurt the quality of your track it'll actually make it stand out more imo cause foreground has been absent in this track and also your latest one, so I feel like it's time to add some in. I'm in no way saying you have to, just suggesting if you and maple really want to go for the "best track ever".

 

i know what you mean. but i think its all about illusion. (improved the "illusion" in my new mario track, which is also black) bombongo was more of an half-arsed project, just to earn some quick coins. i believe in all black. i just think i still need to find the key, that doesnt make the "spaces" apparent. one day i hope to make the sickest forest track in all black, i just need to figure out the tree code first.
here is a shot by lolz btw, which still makes a sufficient illusion, and it never bothered me that these were cut in half. but then again, he is the king.

 

Yeah the art seems really random but its surroundings have been removed since we weren't satisfied with them. We prob erased off around 300k
