Ah yeah, its technically an invalid track code. I have to put in some checks to make those ones work. Will fix

 

Pressing backspace makes it leave the editor. Very annoying when I'm making a track and everything is gone

 

This will be fixed when checkpoints are released. For now, don't press backspace.

 

ok sweet. Also, I found that exporting sometimes deletes a few lines

 

Plz make it so that mobile devices can use checkpoints like they r in the game.

 

Hmm, I'll have to look into that. A few lines? Please be specific on the bug. I appreciate the bug reports, but I can't do anything with them without a descriptive analysis of the issue.

How many lines were removed ? A large chunk? a few small lines?
Was it scenery lines or physics?
Did all other objects remain in the track code (powerups / scenery lines etc)
Can you reproduce it?

 

yes it has happened before. I guess it happens in big tracks. If you want me to send you the code it gave me i will. It removes both scenery and physics, although it is very little just a line or two here and there.

 

Hmm, yeah if you pm me the code, I will have a look. I don't know if I will be able to notice the line differences if your saying that its only a few small lines. I don't see how this could be happening.

This has also happened to me b4 (in the old editor). This is the track- http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/114287-dune-rider Scenery lines ( Lots of them) were removed. It was kinda like this track - http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/97160-dirt-jumpin-2. The scenery lines i drew above the land were removed. I worked on those scenery lines for 10 whole days.


And i was using Google Chrome, Microsoft Text Doc., Windows 7 and the operating system was 64 bit.

Char would various text editors play any role in mutation of track codes? I can't imagine that it would, but possibly?

 

It needs to a raw txt editor. No rich text editors.
