True. I suppose since there are no "objectively unbeatable" tracks, perhaps "unghostable due to 15 minute time constraints" would be the better way for limits to be set on track creators for what tracks they are able to publish. If a track creator wants to create a very long complex track but doesn't have the riding skills, then collaborations with riders would be necessary.

Here's my idea for the checkpoint system:
Your time would be the average of time with checkpoints and time without checkpoints. So when you complete a track, it would show the CR-style ghost and the your ghost would be ranked by that average time and your real time (with deaths) would be shown next to the average. For example, if your 'real time' is 2:00.00 and time without deaths 1:00.00, your time on the leader board would be: 1:30.00 (2:00.00). Pros of this system are that it can show how much you have used checkpoints even if the ghost is CR-style. The bigger the difference between those two times are, the more you have used checkpoints. If the times are the same, it means you haven't used checkpoints at all. Therefore it takes into account skill distribution and cheating wouldn't be possible.

I know im a little late on this checkpoint debate, but if you added no death checkpoints (or whatever the kids are calling them these days) then people could trick ghost. TBH its my favorite part about playing tracks, with checkpoints that show deaths, it shows all the failed attempts at a hard trick. And that sucks.
