      Right now this is just a rough idea, looking to collect information / feedback from community. Implementation would be a ways off, so in terms of what it would be called we would post for more feedback at a later time.

      Love the sound of the points system, could be a separate tab on the leaderboard for groups. Points could be scored for amount of global best times (Racing groups), amount of featured tracks (track making group) etc.
      Also, I personally agree with JacobCahoon 's idea, although i dont think u'd have to pay too too much. Maybe like $1000 for a group of 6, then pay +$250 each player u want to add after that, so that we can be certain that u/the group will stay active. Fee could be more/less, it was only a rough suggestion ;)

      Instead of Groups or Guilds, they should be called simply Teams. It fits the racing personality of Free Rider WAY more then the previous two in my opinion.

      If you could join 2 guilds, a trackmaking one and a racing one, then maybe have 2 options: 1 join a team (this would be for racing) and 2 join a group (for trackmaing).

      GG is a trackming group that mostly uses grey detail (which is why it's called grey group), right?

      GG is a group based around who the leaders think are great track authors.
      VER is a group based around who the leaders think are great racers.

      I don't like the idea of track making and racing teams, it could make the game really competitive and I wouldn't enjoy it as much
