    oh sorry max said earlier that he thinks jon's pond should beat my track, and the detail is all small short and scattered lines. It isnt clean at all and it certainty didnt take as much effort as I put in my track.

    There's a reason we featured Jon's pond and not Grassy knoll though. JP has an amazing layout, both visually and trackwise and in general a really nice design to it. The detail of the rocks might not be that special but I think it looks nice, and it's really his own style. It was a nice breath of fresh air for me, and the other guys who decided to feature it. Now I'm not trying to put your track down, which was great as well, and I even suggested featuring it, but I think Jon's Pond is better because of the design, which grassy knoll lacks (empty spaces, not well though out structures, stuff like that). GK on the other hand does have really nice details to it, like the trees and the grass.

    my plan was never to make it longer or bigger than it is now.
    its a contest entry, not a real project. real projects take months

    I get that, but for example just before the dino, there's a huge empty spot in the background, and some of the trees are cut into half, feels empty. I know that you may not like the scenery tool but it just looks weird here. And yeah it's sad because the track looks lovely the way it is right now but I would've liked it even more if you added just a bit more to it

    e: I mean the part to the left of the rock tower thing looks finished, while the part to the right doesn't

    <3 jk, i know what you mean tho, although it was never my intent to make something big out of this. there are alot of things i could have done different, and way better, but i used this track to get my mind off my bigger project(s). black is my signature, so grey is out of the question... i had fun with this tho
