    No, it's the 5th installment in the main franchise of Grand Theft Auto. They just so happened to be using Roman Numerals for show. It's irrelevant whether you want to use GTAV or GTA5 because son, it's the same thing and you know it.

    the 'V' just stylizes better for the series. either way, it doesn't really matter as both convey the exact same purpose.
