I played Free Rider 2 back in 1st grade. Then I used trackmill to play other people's tracks. I played it on and off until Free Rider 3. Then one day I saw Free Rider HD in the search results and never looked back!

i found out about frhd because the devs randomly shut down cr and everyone from cr left and the devs destroyed the canvas rider community.

the layout, new additions, coins, and whatnot make frhd better. but imo if we're talking about the actual game then cr is better, it runs smoother and the ghosting is a lot better.

I first played on CR, got pretty good at it, then quit for a year then came back and saw FRHD. CR only had a big community because it was on the google chrome app store when that was a thing. I think the frhd checkpoint system shows off skill much better than CR. Sad that many great track makers are gone tho. But FRHD has excellent devs and is a much better experience.

A friend told me about Freerider a while ago. I signed up, played for a while, and got addicted. The best part of this game is the creativity that is involved and not to mention all of the great people!

I played CR for about 2 years and after some non-playing period I came back at CR and see that it became abandoned. Then I started to play FRHD

I played fr2 for a long time, man these were good times! By luck, I found out about fr3, and when frhd was announced on the Kano Games website, I immediately stopped playing fr3! :)

A friend of mine showed me free rider 2 years ago, but I never played it for maybe 6 years until a few months ago, when I decided to try to find that game again. I found FRHD, and I've been addicted ever since. :)

Back when i was in third or fourth grade i played canvas rider. Then I saw Free Rider 3 on their page. I gave up playin' those. Then just two months ago I searched Free Rider on facebook n this game came. From then on, I started playin' FRHD.

I found free rider 2 in 2010 or 2011 at addicting games (a website). Then discovered canvas rider and for most of the time I was a track stealer... I stopped doing that in 2012. When CR died down, I transferred over to ________________________. Then I found FRHD

I started playing FR2 back in 2007, was active until 2009 and then I've been on and off with the various FR games ever since. First was obviously FR2, then came CR, which was the lagless version of FR2DB's FR2. Then it got shut down by Kano Games, who made FR3 and good ol' FRHD. I haven't ever played FR3, I went with BHR and from there, I was introduced to here.

Found FR2 on addicting games, and became addicted (duh).
Then after a year or two of a break, I found FR3 on KanoGames.com, played quite a bit, and then FRHD came along.
I never knew about CR or BHR. I wish I was part of that community, because let's face it, FR3 had no community around it.. You basically had to play by yourself 24/7

Started playing back in 2009/2010 and decided to make a fr2.me account in early 2011. I went by the name 'Thing' on there, and browsed fr2.db and eventually cr (lagless version) when that came out. I never made a cr account though, I mostly kept to .me.

I became pretty well known there, despite my shitty art skills, and played up until the very end. Fr3 promos started popping up on the websites, and soon enough, they were all shut down. I was sad for a while and tried to stay in contact with the community, but it was no use.

A few months ago I stumbled upon FRHD and got back into it. Made a track, got a feature, talked to old friends, etc. I hate the new game as the controls are stupid and the community has wasted away, but I do spend a lot of time on BHR and here anyways :p
Definitely cool seeing how some older artists have completely different styles than they used to have! And playing the game without lag is amazing. (Like I said, I never played cr much.)

A few people changed their usernames, which was kinda hard to get used to. Deadrising3 / Elibloodthirst was Unrested, Wheeliemaker was Awesome, and Chalk was Xwinx. Nobody else really changed their names though. I miss some .me users like Anaomet, Gräggen, Artyst, pma, thePENGUINs, Toxicity, Zwinx, BigBlu3, South, etc. I'd name more but I can barely remember any usernames.

Anyways, yeah. I'm pretty old, and was certainly never this skilled of an artist.
