Guild/Groups Idea - Grey Group, Team Pizza, Space Cats

I think I would like a chat room with sub-chats the Leaders and the people who the leaders gave authorization can create the sub-chats. Also an option where the leaders can release a bulletin which pop up in all the chats. Just some ideas.
I think a good starting max size would be 150-200 people (possibly larger)

 

Some people are in two or more groups at the same time, so maybe loosening up on the one group rule? I believe that Sono is in both VER and GG, so maybe making the rule two or three would be nice

Yeah, gonna have to agree with you though. This would be a neat concept to see put into the game, it would definitely be more social.

 

I would certainly like a bigger conversation listing, we have two seperate convo's for the one group, which is unfair to the two people who miss out on getting to know the majority of our group. I love the idea of competitions between groups and wip sharing. Nice ideas Eric!

 

I think there should be 2 main groups. VER and GG. Because those are only for top notch players. Then, people could pick a category, Riders, Authors, and both, and make or join a group. To make a group you should have to pay a LARGE amount of coins, that way we won't have spammy groups. Instead of paying, you would have to get your group approved by the devs.


These are just some ideas.

 

What about ERA? It has the potential to be right up there with VER and GG

 

There should be 50 main guilds, having just a couple could start an uprise and break apart some awesome groups

Ya, I feel like I would be torn between the two.

Not too sure how I feel about having only GG and VER being "main" groups. I think a group should be considered as "main" only if they build their own reputation that high. For example, ya VER was one of the first groups, but all we have done is held one contest. There are individual people on this forum who have held more contests than that.

I'm loving this idea, Eric . It would be super cool if groups had a chat room on the forum (think of something along the lines of Facebook; multiple chat tabs along the bottom - one tab for each group you have officially joined). For newer members, there should be a public forum chat (since we have been begging you for this for a while now, you might as well if you include group chat rooms). The public chat would also help newer users feel more welcome and involved, depending on who is in the chat of course.

PS. Here is a question directed towards everyone: are you still waiting for FRHD news? I was planning to start it up with Jacob again, but if no one cares then there is no point. (slightly off topic, but FRHD news is a group, right?)

 

I have big plans for VER. Sure we're still a small group, but GG and VER have some of the best players in their group. There could be "top groups". VER and GG would be part of those, plus some other groups that are top notch.

 

How would you determine the members of VER and GG, would you do it by their skill level or by how much you can trust them

 

Top groups should only be based upon activity, or at least some kind of "point system".
Just picking and choosing who is the best right now will just cause debate and hatred among the forum. Why make it easier for the people who are considered "the best players"? Shouldn't we all be considered equal?

VER and GG already have a group member list. Together there are only a total of 10-15 people in those groups - half of which are active on the forums.
Any additions to those teams would be up to the group leaders. (VER: Jacob and I; GG: Wheelie and Alex)

 

But what if a player wanted to change groups of argument, would an ex.ver member be allowed into gg and vice versa

 

Well currently I'm arguing for an individual to have the ability to be part of multiple groups, as I'm a current member of GG and VER.

Yeah, because there are a lot of great riders that are unknown that have the capability of being in higher groups
