Contest Remix Contest 3 - Legacy Thread

We're just doing 3/5 votes will make a track featured. Alex got 3/5 and Crane didn't and that's why it's not featured

Rocks and cliffs wise, it's pretty ******* stunning to be honest, he's got his own jazz going on and I think it really suits him, the clouds are nicely shaded but I feel that the shaping is too puffed out and there needs to be more. The castle building thing is beautiful and so is that boat *kisses hand as if he was an italian* and I also love the general 3D aspect of the track.

What I really don't like is the palms and the seaweed. First off with the palms, the tree trunk itself is good, shading for the bark isn't the best but it's good enough, it's the leaves that get me, they look mishaped as fudge, too blocky at that too and there's a lack of leaves but I can understand why he did it like that. The Sea flowers, well idk. Looks weird zoomed in and zoomed out. I can't find a level of zoom that it's meant to be zoomed at to. They look good but I really think they're huddled up a little too much while being so still too controlled. I can see parts of chaos in there but like real life that **** would be a little more Chaotic, not by much but a little bit. That only applies to the ones on top of rocks though.

The last part of mention is the water, now the longer lines that define ripple I really enjoy but with the smaller parts, idk. and the streaming going into the water isn't that good either. It's probably the mixture that doesn't suit my fill.

In terms of feature, yeah I supposed I'd be up for this more than any other track that isn't maples. I know my negatives look more than the positives but y'know with the bad you gotta justify why it's like that. Good you just kinda say. So yeah, that's it on my opinion
