i just ran a track data scraper and i have all the ghosting data for the top 10 ghosts on every track from 50001 to present. what are some metrics yall would be interested in finding out? also what would you say is the best way to measure ghoster skill?

Could be cool to see the ranking of players who appear the most anywhere on a top 10 for all those tracks, was always curious on that as an extension of nvg's community classic metrics for all the tracks

I think a better metric might be the difference between #1 & #2 times skillwise, with bigger time differences and more contested tracks being heavily weighted

yes i agree, maybe a finite list of the top 300 players based on a score calculated using every published track by like 20pts for 1st, 15 for second etc and maybe i could add some form of weighting for how far apart each ghost time is by using the avg time overall on the track. and then this metric would be multiplied by the number of players who completed the track and maybe the inverse of the completion percentage and then all the numbers could be added up to determine the final values for everyone. only problem is that my computer has been shitting the bed for the past 2 days and it wont let me even load frhd for some reason. i think i pinged the api too many times or smthn idek
