Round 10 Results and Commentary

Well, there you have it, folks! We have finally reached the end of GBC5, and what a jam-packed month of ghosting it was! We saw veterans return to the game and legends dominate rounds. We saw new players emerge and familiar faces within the action.

EGRIFFITH was the player who made the last track for the contest, and it was very nice. A great mixture of smooth jumps, offroad, a bomb jump, a tube and a final climb at the end.

Round 10 Times and Final Rankings
With Cerasium being unsurpassable after Round 9, he has officially won Ghosting Battle Contest 5, and is 3rd GBC in a row! Xenom finishes in 2nd place and Anonyymi in 3rd. Egona just edges out Eunos and EGRIFFITH for the Rising Ghoster Medal.


Round 10 was quiet compared to most, with only 19 people completing the track. The biggest story of the round was tetrationiscool announcing he joined the contest, in the last round?! tic made it clear he had no intentions of joining the contest, but despite this, he got 1st on every GBC5 track, meaning if he joined from the start, he would have a perfect 300 points and Cerasium would be moved to 2nd! The catch for this round, however, tic's final ghost that is in 1st place came 3 hours after the round ended, so his 1 minute + initial ghost counted, putting him last for the round for those who completed the track, making Cerasium the winner of a round for the 9th time this contest.

As for everyone else Anonyymi, Xenom, isekeb and Uniior made the top. Solid performances from Totoca12, Clash06, EGRIFFITH and Eunos and TPlacella rounded out the top 10. Cryx close behind in 11th with a 26.43 second ghost. panda_rider was a long 12th place, almost 3 seconds behind Cryx, Egona, pawflix and JustAGDFan were around the 30 second mark. Phasetree and Protvod were just over 30 seocnds and Ponjoja finished those who completed the track with a 45.03 second ghost.

The_risen_skyrider, VictorEnummanuel, LEBONBONGLAZERRRRR, FunBunOne, Cork, nhdtop, VA17, Stevie.T, Zonkalization, triip, Sir__Human and HtH_RIDES brought up those who did not complete the track in time.

TPlacella Award for Round 10

Round 10 wasn't very busy overall, so I'm going to give the win to Cerasium. Despite having better ghosts on the other tracks, his 1st place ghost of 21.67 on the Round 10 track is still really good.​

Look im happy with 11th place, school yr just started so what can i expect haha. didnt even know that the last track came out, wouldve helped if i'd gotten pinged lol, but it is what it is. gg's guys, cerasium bro get a life holy f*** your ghosts are insane. and tetration is just mogging us all bc he apparently "doesn't have time to ghost" or smth lol. nah but fr props to tp for hosting, ill try harder next round if im even around!!

 

I should've joined from the beginning.
I'm surprised that I joined on the last round, got a three and a half minute ghost, and somehow didn't get last place.

Man, even though I did terribly in the contest, I genuinely had fun. It was great meeting some of the pros and watching them show their skills.

And yes, GBC6 will be my time. I won't get 22nd again. I'm gonna make that playground track I promised 3 months ago and play it for 2 months straight to get better at the game because I'm a psycho with too much time on my hands
