Round 2 Results and Commentary
We have reached the end of the 2nd Round in GBC5!
This track was made by pawflix, who also made the Round 3 track in the previous edition of the contest in 2023. With that track well-received, we could only imagine what pawflix would cook up this time, and he certainly dished up well! With the track slightly longer and easier than Round 1, it was the perfect opportunity for close competition as players battled for points in the early stages of the contest.

Round 2 Times and Current Rankings
Cerasium leads the way with a perfect 60 points.
Anonyymi and
Xenom are tied for 2nd with 48 points.
isekeb and
Uniior are on 45 and 39 points respectively to make up the top 5.
Cerasium cashed in early once again, securing 1st place on day 1 and improving his ghost on day 2.
Anonyymi,
Uniior,
isekeb and
Eunos secured their spots in the top 10 in the middle of the round. It was great to see
Cork show up for Round 2 and getting equal 6th with a time of 34.2.
Totoca12 made an appearance as well, getting a low 36.xx time then snatching a spot in the top 10 in the dying stages with a time 34.57. Love to see it!

The_risen_skyrider, all battling for a top 10 spot for the round.
TPlacella improved on his Round 1 performance with a 35.27 to stay close with the spacebarers,
Clash06 backed up his Round 1 time with a solid 35.47.
pawflix bounced back from a rough Round 1, performing quite well on his own track for 15th, as expected from the 100th ranked ghoster on the FRHD All-Time Top 100 Ghosters List from 2024.

EGRIFFITH out this round comfortably and
Cork and
Totoca12 showing up, EGRIFFITH fell down to the rest of the pack at 16th, missing the 2 points.
VictorEnummanuel got a respectable time of 36.9 whereas
FunBunOne needed another track like
Egona's to get top 10, coming 18th this time around. FBO will certainly bounce back in the rounds ahead.

Sir__Human,
nhdtop and
ST4RSWillShine were the stragglers, all getting over a minute. ST4RSWillShine who didn't ghost in Round 1 got the slowest time of 4:12.77. We hope to see you improve as the contest continues.
VA17Gaming HtH_RIDES and
Ponjoja all ghosted Round 1 but failed to do so in Round 2. We hope you give the other rounds a shot.
LEBONBONGLAZERRRRR is the only player to have not ghosted both tracks, they are in 31st spot on 0 points.
TPlacella Award for Round 2
Xenom is one of FRHD's greatest ever ghosters. Once with a peak of over 100 featured ghosts, there almost no one better than him in his prime. After a hiatus from the game, Cerasium and I asked Xenom if he wanted to particpate in the contest and he said yes. After getting 4th place in Round 1, meeting his standards, he could only match his performance the next round or do even better. Beating Cerasium is a tough task, but he can do the next best thing. In the last 2 hours of the round, Xenom snatched 2nd place with a time of 33.07, announcing to everyone that he is back to his old ghosting ways! Good stuff Xenom and we hope you challenge Cerasium as this contest develops.
Round 3
The next track has been made by
loge_0, the scheduled upload date has passed but the track should be released within the next few hours. From when the track drops, you have 48 hours again. This track is the longest and hardest one yet, so it should challenge some of you.
