Can someone explain TAS

I don't want the script but can someone explain me how TAS scripts work? Much appreciated.

well no, what it accctualy is is a script where it puts checkpoints every frame, so you can rewind back to thse checkpoints. when you complete the track it makes a perfect ghost

 

what about the people who tas for long tracks, how does the code work for that?

 

well it just puts there time that tyhey completed it, (if cheating) but it sets a fake time... i dontthink lenghth has to do anything with the tas script
