Lately there have been a number of users posting inappropriate bot-like messages around the game and the forums. Many of these accounts are known users among the members of the community, and it seems unlikely that these users would all be posting the same inappropriate links. This is a general internet safety reminder. The likely cause of this is a malicious script or link that users have been clicking and installing which steals their account token. This token gives the malcious user access to post content under your name.

What to do if you believe your account is compromised?
Reset your password in-game. Changing your password resets your access token. Do it for both, the game, and the forums.

How to prevent further recurrences?
Refrain from clicking masked links or suspicious or unsecured links. This means links like this, or links that start with http, without the s for secure. For your safety, please make sure that the links you are visiting start with https.
