Hey y'all!
I know we are all nervous and excited for the results and for Round 3 to start, but we have to keep in mind that the judges and organisers of this contest have a life outside of this game (I'm not saying y'all don't), and are really busy right now, so that's why it's being delayed. In the meantime, what you could start doing is preparing assets for your Round 3 track, and then with the fabulous freerider.app, you can move, resize and duplicate said objects to fit onto the track. This is what I'm doing, because, if you didn't realize it earlier, you are gaining time and days by doing this .

So, what I'm saying is, instead of complaining about Round 3 not being released, start working on it, and that will give you better chances to place higher in said round.

funny thing is we dont have the round 3 objects available, so the most we can do is work on backgrounds or rides from previous rounds (with deco)

Why don't you go on the featured tracks tab, and start counting on how many of those tracks the detail is just in the ride. Or, maybe, a track has detail outside of said ride.

yeah true, i feel like its time to get a new team of younger players because there online more. Our days are slowly coming to an end.

 

we clearly know that unlike discord mods they have a life beyond frhd, give them like a day

mostly just beurocratic stuff on our end, yall! i wouldn’t recommend resting on your laurels, waiting to spring into action. what can you all do today? opening the editor and tinkering with ride tech, seeing how the different angles affect the lines ridability, trying out detailing techniques, these are all incredibly potent things to do that will upgrade ALL future work you set to do!

round three is a lot. like, a LOT a lot. lots of objects to go in all sorts of directions. sketching out some concepts to think about what you’d like to create for yourself is a decent idea as well.

my point is that there’s a lot of things to do instead of wait impatiently. be patient with us. each judge has put quite a lot of time, effort, energy, and love into this contest, and life still prevails! its been a joy to play these new creations of yours so far, and i’m really excited to see what kind of beautiful stuff you all dream up in the present time, and the (no but seriously, really near future) future
