i'm getting real close to a finished album, here's a song i just finished earlier today. sneak peak before i release it to the masses

first quarter of next year i should have a solid 10 track album streaming everywhere, just selecting the best of the bunch and doing finishing touches etc

nice one ness! appreciate the great feedback. very glad to hear it sounds pro, i've switched up my process on the mixing & mastering side of things so sounds like that's paid off

thanks glad you like it. the guitars are all me, i go DI into an interface and use the toneking neural dsp plugin for my tones.
i use samples all the time if it serves the song, i like chopping up drum samples for a more human-sounding result instead of fully programming them in.. if i need vocals or sax or strings etc i don't sing or play those instruments so i'll find a nice sample, chop it up a bit, edit the pitch or tempo, slap on some delay or reverb etc if it needs it.. there is definitely a fine art to finding the perfect samples for your song, but they're out there and if you can use them well they can really enhance the whole mix

 

I'm not sure dude my band is still in the works so I think a collab would be a bit much. ty for the offer tho

yeah thats so sick. I love guitar so much man but I can never come up with anything original that isn't similar to stuff I've heard in other songs. sucks to be me lol
