List Official Featured Ghosts

UPDATE REGARDING THE USER Azgr00/XGRAZgr:

Hello guys. I'm here once again with one of those annoying updates that unfortunately keep happening. Lately I'm not having the time or motivation to check FRHD things lately, but I'm trying to do a little comeback to handle some of the things that ended up iunresolved. As I mentioned last time with Duper, it's sad that this is still an ongoing issue, especially given that we tried to do something with the so-called "Grace Period", but we have to be honest and admit that it didn't work. This one was a really annoying one from me since the guy is a fellow brazilian player that I had interacted with a bit lately and that is indeed a talented ghoster, but well, the rules are the rules. Today we are here to inform that it came to our knowledge that the user Azgr00 was indeed cheating in the game, using some tools (like TAS or tools to save the state of his ghosts) to assist him in the making of his ghosts and then passing them as legitimate.

Azgr00 got some attention in the past year, like Duper, for his great ghosts and his quick ascension in the ghosting scene. The different thing was the Azgr00 was usually more on the technical side with tubes and trials. I think he went under the radar a little bit because there were some other legimate users that could do what he was doing and because he was doing some liveplays that eventually turned out to be fake. He had cheated in some instances years ago, but for a quite a few months he was improving at a rate that seemed more organic, while claiming that his cheating days were behind him. He has been around for at least like 3 years now, he's young and had multiple accounts over the years, so we did give him a chance.

Eventually some of his ghosts earned him a place among the top 3 ghosters of the month in the Ghosting Awards twice, getting 2nd place in February 2024 and August 2024. He also won the Ghost Of The Month award for both of those months. He peaked at 3 features, joined a few ghosting contests (was 15th in the GBC4 for example) and was appointed teh 79th ghoster of all-time for FRHD in the latest FRHD Top 100 Ghosters list.

We slowly grown suspicious of him as the year went on because his ghosts were getting better, his explanations were getting worse and with some help of users like that have cheated in the game in the past, we managed to get irrefutable proof (and later a confession) of his cheating behavior. So for now, here's what we'll do regarding him:

Official Featured Ghosts:

He lost all of his 3 featured ghosts and had the ghosts deleted:

Also, starting from October 9th, he won't be allowed to suggest ghosts to the thread for a full year. If he beats a featured ghost, at least for now, his ghosts will be deleted. After the 1 year ban, if he makes serious efforts to reinstate himself as a legitimate ghoster, we can open a discussion or consider letting his ghosts as unverified features to be checked with liveplays/solid video proof.

FRHD All-Time Top 100 Ghosters list:

As of right now, we'll just add a strike-through for his name in the 2023 list and prohibit him from joining the 2024 one. The prediction for the 2025's list to be out is on January 2026, so whenever that happens we can see if it's worth reconsidering.

Ghosting Awards:

He'll lose his ghosting awards, so the two times he finished among the top 3 ghosters of the month, both times in 2nd place and the two times he got the Ghost Of The Month award, all gained from February 2024 and August 2024 ghosting awards, will be stripped from him. The changes in the awards can be seen HERE.

Forum Ban:

We aimed for 1 month of forum ban starting from October 9th (so it's actually ending today), followed by 1 more month of forum discouragement (more severe restriction) and then 10 more months of forum restriction, completing then a full year. We can reevalute things later or before, depending on how things go. At least he ended up admitting to cheat, although he didn't do it when the members of the team confronted him for the first few times. But let's see how it goes.

Game Ban:

Right now we are looking to apply a ban in the game just yet, but if this comes back to happen in any type of way or if we don't see any signs of accountability or redemption, we can consider it for sure.

Final Words:

I already said some words in private to Azgr00/XGRAzgr00, but it's just a disappointing feeling for sure. I have been quite busy with work lately and not with the best motivation towards FRHD and for sure things like this doesn't help, since we do feel like our efforts end up being undermined and underappreciated. But it just how it goes, let's just move on and try to do better. We might need to apply some more strict policies from now on, so if we have news about that we'll share with you guys.

 

QUICK UPDATE REGARDING FRHD TEAMS:

Unfortunately we weren't able to keep up with proving information constantly, so no things held by the Official Ghosting Team at the moment (such as Official Featured Ghosts and Ghosting Awards) will be counting points to the FRHD Teams season, as initially planned. At least at the moment. Any news regarding this we'll share.
