New Album Intro/Outro Song

just finished the mix & master on this new one for the instrumental guitar album i'm working on, it's short and sweet so i think it'll be either the intro or outro

would be cool to hear some feedback and see if people like it, i think this might be my most catchy melody yet

the whole album is this type of vibe and if i stop procrastinating it could be done some point this year and i'll self-release it on all streaming platforms

I think as an intro it would be perfect, immediately had me wanting to hear the next one. sounds incredible, love how you produced it and I agree, super catchy and such a vibe. can't wait for the album, great stuff man.

thanks man i appreciate that! i'm trying to make each song blend nicely and feel like there's an underlying theme throughout so it's good to hear it inspires more listening, the aim is to create an album where people want to listen the whole way through so i think the key is memorable intros & catchy melodies

thanks very much, yeah it could work either way for sure. i'll get all the songs together and play around with the order of them until it sounds just right. luckily i've got 2 songs which could either be intro or outro now so just have to see where they fit best

AfterImage i do indeed, so far i've released 2 drum&bass songs under the artist name - Chucky Mayhem
and with this album i'm working on i'll release that under a different artist name and keep the two projects separate, totally different genres of music but i enjoy making both

Super solid. Imo it's a good enough underlying beat /chords to stretch it out to a full song if you end up with another you want as an intro. Like start with what you have, and build back up and repeat the main chorus from around 35 seconds, maybe altered slightly the second time, or I feel like you could really go to town with a solo style section on top of it on the second time around or after the second time around.

Idk it's a good vibe, can handle more.

Love the atmospheric, nostalgic vibe of it.

Have you considering making it a motif in the album? If you're willing to do more drastic changes to it, the first half would be a great opener but that fade out would be beautifully effective at the end of an outro variation of this piece. I personally would make an intro version where it builds into the first proper track and then another version with perhaps pared back instrumentation that culminates in that fade out. Just my two cents, awesome work either way and good to see you again!

 

thanks for the Cc, glad you like it! yeah i'd definitely consider making it a motif. i've just finished 2 new songs recently with a similar vibe, but could figure out ways to blend them nicely and have recurring themes/melodies etc

 

What do you use? Like Logic pro, bandlab or garage band or something
