Is freerider dead?

I feal like the player count dropped by a lot since covid is it true?

 

Free Rider was already dead beforehand. When I say dead, I mean play counts on tracks are low, and fewer people are active on forums. It doesn't mean people still don't play the game, but ig heaps of people have left and the player base isn't as it used to be anymore. Free rider plateaued a few years back anyway in terms of activity.

 

Yeah i was thinking the same becasue in covid i got between 300 and 800 plays on my tracks and on my last two i got 30 in total, pretty much desappointed in the amount of plays but its ok. I hope it gets revived somehow but i dont think it will, also i really dont want to leave so ill be here

free rider hd had lots of activity during covid i wouldn't really call it dead during that time tbh

I joined forums in early 2021, I played Free Rider on and off since 2018 and started playing more from 2021 onwards. And as I've mentioned before, I kind of like to read old posts on forums and build my knowledge of the game.

 

short answer: yes

 

I joined this year and found it because I remembered that I enjoyed Line Rider for years, I went to get it again and found FRHD instead. I wouldn't say it's dead because I've seen a lot of new players as well, I think there will always be interest in a game like this. I guess just keep the community going and a bunch of old players will pick it back up when they realize FRHD is one of the best games on the planet
