looked up tidal generator, I already have previous knowledge of stuff like that so I knew where to start. Popped up almost immediately

well, the people that originally traced didn't spend very long looking for an image usually, so if you know how to look you can find it pretty fast

 

I find this interesting, but it doesn't take away from what I think about Radium. People make mistakes. I've made mistakes that are far worse than just tracing on an online game. Everybody makes them.

Radium has clearly shown talent in other parts of tracks, so I think that he could probably do it without tracing. Not to mention, IVAN (and maybe some of the others) was done with a time restriction. Idk if this is the case, but if he traced to save himself a little time, alright. It's not the end of the world.

This isn't to say that I advocate for tracing on tracks (although I have thought of tracing some of my personal art to Free Rider), but I also can't say anything for what Radium was thinking about at the time. We would need to hear Radium's side of all of this before creating concrete opinions about somebody based on their actions. I still respect Radium as both a ghoster and a trackmaker.

 

completely copying the outline of an image, and not adding anything new to it, is a little more serious than just tracing something to save a little time
what radium did showed he didnt want to put in the effort to draw legit
as for giving him a second chance, i believe he has quit for good now.

 

This is sad. I will continue to have some respect for radium because he can draw when he choses too and his ghosting. However its disappointing to learn that some of the central parts of his tracks that I find really cool are traced

radiumrc will definitely be back.... you don't spend this much time... years... ghosting and becoming one of the best players at the world, creating huge tracks that take a lot of time, and becoming a featured ghost mod and then just leave bc of something like this. my guess is that he is probably going to make a new account, or go to an existing unrevealed alt account and ghost on it and track-make

 

it would be pretty obvious that it's radium. If he cared about coming back he would simply admit to what he'd done and apologize. His lack of response is what hints towards the fact he's not coming back the biggest

 

idk about that its not like he ever talked that much i dont think it would be obvious that its him

 

his style is quite obvious, and not really very many people pop out of the blue as a good ghoster. I hate to break it to you but people have lives outside of freerider, and radium's freerider career is almost certainly over. I'd love to be proven wrong

I, as the current #1 tuber (shameless flex), have spent hours on trial/tube tracks to get ghosts that aren't even close to the level of this. sure, by all means he could be legit and spent days on this ghost, but this post by coager is also making me question it:

Radium performed exceptionally well in the world cup within the very first few hours of certain tracks being out, but that isn't super crazy because he technically is the #1 ghoster in the world. He also didn't have an insanely fast uprising so that also makes it a little less sus. I just feel like if he is tracing who knows what else he could be doing in the ghosting scene? Could Totoca12 or someone else that knows a lot about ghost code like isekeb, Pie42, or Symantec look into this?

 

this is quite true, but a lot of his ghosts he has provided evidence of being true to totoca, correct me if im mistaken. Im not saying that all of his ghosts are fake, or real, but my guess if he was cheating it wasn't for every ghost, and probably not for the entirety of the ghost

 

There was some talk about him tassing/using save states during the contest throughout but they decided they would look into it after FRWC6 but I guess they just forgot?

I don't remember much about ghosting so I don't really know what's important and what isn't, but I don't think 78 occurrences of 1-tick presses (52 of which are z's) are normal. that's the only suspicious part though. no duplicates or mismatching presses-releases.
if anyone could list some good ghosts on similar maps (which mostly consists of tubes), maybe something else would stand out if we compared their results.
I think Pie42 has a better script though.

 

i did some intense analysing of this ghost code and honestly the only way to find out would be to make him stream or something but since he's gone that's a bit of a pickle
