Please, please stop seeking attention. For every action of disobedience and lack of judgement (common sense), releases fair punishment.

Suicide is a dangerous issue cause by an unstable emotional and/or mental state. Both aren't good to have and without people there to support someone going through that, it's truly dangerous. Joking about it doesn't do anything but make it worse (especially if someone is looking for help).

 

At least you didn't leave it just outside the ground floor, there still a chance for you to try once more.

Your boss sounds abusive. The "ok" used to describe your scraping work seems like you did a better job than they expected. Otherwise, the reaction probably would have been more of the same. Funny how you were threatened despite the seemingly illegal actions your boss kept taking. No wonder your dad thinks you might need a lawyer. Consciously knowing someone has mental health problems and still making their life miserable is awful. I'm so glad your dad was able to stand by you and help you out.

Please. PLEASE don't make yourself believe that you overreacted and that you made yourself traumatized over something genuinely serious. That boss seems abusive! Even if things weren't this bad, I think you're reaction is still justified. There are times when yeah, we exaggerate the situation in our minds - usually full of assumptions that put gaping holes in our justification for the reaction should they be proven wrong - but given the real examples you gave of stuff that has happened, this doesn't sound like that at all. It's bad enough to be trapped in toxic environment. The last thing you need is to trick yourself into believing that it's your fault or all in your head.

 

No one can speak for everyone's reactions to something unknown. Maybe ask if you can dm him to see what he thinks? If you aren't sure about posting it here, just read around this thread. There are plenty of posts that sound like what you are describing and the responses are with the intention of being helpful. Even if you don't want comments on it, let everyone know that. We don't have to lend our mouths and minds along side our ears.
