Contest Trios - Ghosting Tournament

Hello everyone!
Welcome to the Trios Ghosting Tournament! (Low budget ORG)
EthMan, RandomTurtleBoi and ShamatoZ are running this tournament together.
The general idea of this tournament is that you and your partners will be ghosting one track every week. When I am taking the times, I will take the best 2 times from your team and average them, so theoretically only two of you need to ghost, as long as you beat the time from the other team! You are allowed to have only 2 players, but I reccomend having 3.

Participants:
If you would like to participate then please show that by selecting that option in the poll above. Do not reply to this saying "in" or something like that because it will clog up this thread. Requirements for participants: You need to have at least 200pts and you have to have a confirmed account. If you need a partner or two then you can try to find them on the "Find a Partner" thread. Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Am I allowed to choose my own teammates?
A: Yes, you are allowed to, but the people that you want to team with need to want to team with you.

Q: Am I allowed to team with my alt account(s)?
A: No. If I know that one of your teammates is an alt account then I will disqualify you.

Q: I'm bad at ghosting, should I still join?
A: Yes. The more people that we have competing, the better! Plus, even if you lose the first round you get to play in the consolation round, meaning that you have a guaranteed 2 rounds of ghosting.

Q: How long will we have to complete the track we are assigned?
A: You will be assigned the track on Monday at 10 AM PST and you will have until Friday at 5 PM PST to complete it.

Possible strategies:
Alternating the people that ghosts every week, so you only need to ghost once every 2x every 3 weeks.
Having all of you ghost on every track.

How the tournament works:
Each team will be given a track and an opponent. You will try to get the best time that you can. When I am finding who won, I will be taking the best 2 times from your team and averaging them. I will do the same for the opposing team. The team with the best time moves on in the tournament. If it the time is a tie then I will be looking at the best time from both of the teams. If you lose in the first round then you move onto the consolation round. If you lose in the semifinals of the main draw then you will battle the other team that lost in the semis. You will be battling for 3rd place. The prizes will be listed below.

Prizes:
1st place: 7 subs
2nd place: 5 subs
3rd place: 3 subs

Your team will need a team name, please message that to me once you and your partners have agreed upon one. Please make sure that this name is appropriate for all audiences and is not offensive in any shape or form.

so is there any protection against low level ghosters being put up against the top teams, like a point system? or is it just randomized

 

nope, sorry. if you get teamed against cerasium then all you can do is start praying :\

 

EthMan i would like to form a trio with RadiumRC and ShamatoZ since they are already partners, i discussed this with RadiumRC and he approved
