Hoping I could get some feedback on my current project, working on it again after 4 years and I've been blending new detail with the old. Additionally I did a rough sketch of a layout for the ending view. I would appreciate feedback on the stly and if you notice any peculiarities about the layout I came up with except the random tree lol.
e; this is a collab between me and ShamatoZ might come out by the end of the month or beginning of December
I already posted this but... if you want to check it out here is the link. let me know what you think of detail and any suggestions for future tracks. https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/858400-rooftop-jumps-zoom-out
the grass near the part where the slanted hill ends looks a little short and uniform for growing in the wild. Also, the web page blocks off half of the screenshot so I can't even see the right side of either picture up close. The grass would certainly be more interesting if you added more cattail things throughout, or maybe some flowers like this: But in your own style. or maybe some small bush-like things: Another thing that could help is if you added the illusion of the wind, so like small particles being blown around and all the plants in an area were bent a specific direction. Trees in different stages also give extra life to an area. For instance, saplings could help with the thought of spring, big trees with lots of leaves, like cottonwoods, would go along with summer, trees with only a few leaves and leaves laying on the ground for fall, and barren trees for winter, though from the screenshots that doesn't look like what you're going for. I noticed that you have a pine forest in the left corner. What you're doing looks good so far; the only thing I have to say is don't make the boughs too close. Then the tree looks weird. Let the downward curves flow in a way that looks natural, while it may not feel that way. I always fill in my pine trees: but you can do whatever you like.
