yeah i totally agree here. im just alone no one really cares for me and the only people i can really call friends is people on this game which is kind of.....weird and i just kind of need help. I think what your doing Madara is awesome.

Around when this thread was started I started to feel great depression. I pretty much gave up on myself. Help, I feel miserable. I was afraid to tell anyone, especially my family. Can someone help?

A cure to my depression

 

Alright. I'm gonna ask a couple questions and you can answer to whichever you're content with.

1. Are you depressed because you're lonely? and if not is it because you have family problems / friend problems?

2. How long have these feelings been inside of you (How long have you been depressed)

3. What "level" of depression are you. In other words are you so depressed you want to harm or kill yourself to make it go away? or do you just need a vent because you've been crumbling under your emotions for just that long

1. Really its because i am lonely and I just feel sad about this stupid virus.
2. Technically it started like around march 2015, but it really was not depression i was just sad that my parents kept on fighting. The real depression started around march 2020, but it became really bad around October 2020.
3. I had thoughts about killing myself but i also promised myself i wouldn't. But i would hit and swear at myself for being a sore loser. I started to stop seeing the light in things until there was no more. I always blamed stuff on other people but i realized that it was my fault, so i got even more mad at myself

 

So you're depressed because your parents fight and you have to hear and go through that. Because of the virus you can't talk to people and thus are left to deal with it yourself and the best way to cope with that is to demote yourself because you psych yourself into thinking that is the only reason you're in the mess you are?

 

The last little bit is a stretch and just an assumption but am I correct in the majority of that?

Just a guess, and you don't have to answer, but can I also assume that with your parents fighting, you take the brunt of their backlash?

For instance, let's say your parents just got off of a big argument and on that day you just so happened to forget to clean the dishes or clean your room etc. Does your dad take the anger or distress he got from arguing with your mom and place it on you? (in the form of giving a harsher punishment, yelling at you, etc)
