well out I won't have much time to make a track, and it doesn't help that I don't even know the schedule, or which option will be selected. So unless I would happen to be selected, and be one of the first ones to make a part (which is severely unlikely), then I'm not even gonna try for this.

pros: would 100% result in the best track possible, super unique and cool idea that i think could be utilized really well here, considering how many different styles we have participating. would allow for a ton of freedom, arguably more than in other ghosting collabs, and would be very easy for me to make into one track. mr..a's collabs worked similar to this and they were finished in like a month or two, which is ideal.
cons: would have to give people additional minor feedback on where to put portals. would require everyone to detail their sections (and i know this is a collab aimed towards ghosters, so i know you dont like detailing).
option 2 (stricter list option): pretty self explanatory, i am just super strict with the list of people participating in the collab
pros: results in a pretty good track, albeit similar to older ghosting collabs
cons: still pretty stressful for me, would take a long time (upwards of 6 months at least). only people on the list making a section of the track, which sucks since i want as many people participating (or at least making a section) as possible
option 3 (keep things the same option): keep everything the same and let all 36 people participate
pros: everyone participates, eryp dies
cons: track is a mess and will take eons to complete. is boring because of how large it is and how similar in theory it is to older collabs. eryp also dies

i am a huge proponent of option 1, since i think itd lead to the best track possible, and to a really cool and unique track in general. that said i can understand why people wouldnt want it, since itd require detail. so feel free to respond w any feedback you have about any of these options or any other ideas you may have to resolve the issue here

i pick option 2. i do not like creativity or change, i want a 3 hour long impossible trials track that only TAS'ers and cheaters can enjoy. the thought of innovation makes me sick, and having others detail for me is incomprehensible to my feeble mind. i look forward to this being uploaded early next year, only for it to be forgotten weeks later because only Shark Fin's hacks and Pie42's TAS can register a leaderboard time. THAT is the experience i signed up for, and if option 1 is picked, i quit .

option 1 sounds the best. by choosing option 1 people will actually need to put effort into what they're making, so then they will make the best possible ride/detail they can, which enhances the actual track. ik this is a ghosting contest, but it should at least be slightly aesthetically pleasing... if all else fails i'll just detail everyone's section in the grey filler my older tracks were renowned for

I think I like option 1. I'm not good at detailing and if you have ridden a majority of my tracks you know I really only know wood and rocks and stuff like that.

this raises an interesting question, are we allowed to touch other people's section (with permission) or is it off limits

list added, let me know if you want to be moved up/down or whatever
reminder that sections should not be stupid hard this year. we're gonna try to make a fun track/trial, meaning no huge tube sections (really none at all, but we'll take this on a case-by-case basis), and no stupid hard kaizo sections (rob's section from last year..). you'll have 4 days max from when i send you the code, and if you don't have anything to give me by then, i'm moving on. if you have something but need just a little bit more to finish we'll figure out how to deal w that
if you didnt make the list im sorry. it was super difficult this year since 36 people signed up that i think could have contributed, and i had to whittle that number down to something i could work with. use it as motivation to improve your track making abilities and maybe you'll be a sure thing for the next one
