    Vanilla meaning starter. Or a good starter. Not to say that pokemon or My hero academia are't good. But one that is more "relatable" in a sense. It's a lot more chill and easy going then the others

    Here lemme rephrase, vanilla anime isn't ONLY starter anime but is on the "softer" side of the spectrum. It is better for beginners getting into anime.
