      Yep, I enjoy detail. And south wasnt' that good to be honest, more chaos than calculation. And it doesn't just need to be black detailers, I like more grey based detail anyway, but the best detailers just seem to lean toward black.

      As in a funky absurd style? Not as in drawings based on reality(such as nature) which in essence is really just attempts in copying real life still image onto something? If so then yeah sure but I don't really see that sort of creativity from your favs. Don't let this come of as aggressive.

      It's more translating than copying. we've seen examples of this going wrong, taking real world images with blending and textures and fumbling it into a mess. To be the ones to innovate the ways in which multi layered, complex, multichromatic images can be turned into a two shade medium realistically is nothing short of creative. Anyone can draw a jump and a landing, but not everyone knows how to depict real-life
