I made this thread so the mods profiles pages won't alway get spammed.
Before this thread was created I help over 5 members get OA so your in good hands!
So if want Official Author then post you main account link on here and mention one of the mods
Ok I saw some messages that people are saying "Why is OA being given to people who don't deserve it?"
Well I think people should at least make a decent track before receiving OA.
Totoca12 is that a good idea?
I know that is already a rule but we are not following it.
So ask Stig or Max007x
Ok so Stig doesn't give OA out no more so we only got Max007x giving out OA.

Char When are you going to give Eryp and Totoca12 Admin perms?
Update Totoca12 and Eryp now have admin perms so make sure to ask them for OA but don't spam them!!!

How about instead of mentioning mods, we have a designated team of trusted players who review players' tracks and decide if they should get Official Author or not. Then if they decide to give them OA, then they can tell moderators. For me, this seems like a more controlled and efficient way to give out OA, at least better than players spamming the mods' profiles. Also, a rule could be enforced stating how if you asked for OA once, there could be a time limit on when you can ask again. That way rejected players won't be asking for OA again a day after they post a new track.
Also, maybe a programmed message could be issued to players when they reach 100 tracks created, regarding the fact about how they only have 100 more tracks they can create, and that to get more track space they have to ask moderators for Official Author. An in-game place where Official Author can be explained might be useful too.

Ah no, I'm far to unqualified to judge tracks. I was thinking more of active players who have a lot of experience. It is my idea, but I'd rather have more experienced players than me to make the decision of who gets OA and who doesn't.

OA literally does nothing, and if you are at 200 tracks you don't deserve OA because you probably spam bad tracks.

Why would I want OA I don't mind being a regular track creator besides I suck at track making.

That's not true. People put time and effort into their tracks, but they hardly get any attention, so they spend less and less time on them, because they are desperate for someone to notice them.

 

This is why I should be a admin because I am always on here and if someone wants OA I can just give it to them at the exact time they ask

 

Maybe people shouldn’t have oa for asking, and standards should be lifted

 

Maybe. But maybe they should get a better way to ban hackers before they do something to OA
