New Real-Time Featured Ghosts

what are you using to screen record?

To only record frhd, I opened frhd, used the 'Window Capture' source (click the + under the sources module to add a new source), selected the frhd window under that source's settings (double click the source to get to its settings), and then trimmed out the browser window, bookmarks, etc. (hence the black top and bottom). There is probably a cleaner way to do it, but I am lazy and it was the first solution I figured out lol. To trim the record window, just hold down alt while dragging an edge of the preview window. Anything else scales or stretches it I think.

btw you're gonna want to record at 60fps if your computer is able because frhd plays at a weird framerate, so as you set the record framerate lower the video with have weird moments of lag that you didn't experience while playing. If you have to record lower for performance 45 should be ok, but there will be a bit of skipped frames.

If you have any issues with getting it to work, go ahead and ask. It took me some trying and googling to figure it out when I first used it.

lmao Having to record all these attempts is filling up whatever is left of my C drive (my only drive)

Luckily trimming a millisecond of each video in Windows 10 photos app compresses it ~60% for some reason. (my guess is because 80% of the screen is blank white the whole time lol)

I don't feel super confident about this one because there is plenty of room for improvement, but I got tired of it today and this was the best I could do for now. I actually think a spacebarrer will get this feature if they use spacebarring on key parts only.

I hate myself for not recording my pb, but that was before this thread so I'm stuck with this one for now. Maybe I will reghost in the near future. I really want my submission to be my best. At least this was close.

i think i would get better times in real time spacebarring than non spacebar for multiple reasons
1. Time intervals with spacbar on are stupidly small.
2. i suck at non spacbar.

if you're on windows i just use the game bar. win+g and you're all set

 

I'm definitely not a fan of the Game Bar's UI or how few settings there are. If it works then great, but I'm definitely sticking with OBS. More software options the better though.
